Last updated: August 3, 2026 Refero curates a library of design references, including screenshots of websites and apps. We want the library to be useful while respecting the companies and rights holders whose products appear in it. If you represent a company shown in Refero and would like something removed or corrected, the simplest option is to email us. You do not need to send a formal legal notice for a routine removal request.

1. Request removal or correction

Email support@refero.design and include:
  • the Refero URL or enough information for us to find the material;
  • the company, website, app, or material you represent;
  • whether you want the material removed or corrected;
  • a work email address or another simple way for us to confirm your connection to the company or rights holder.
We may ask a brief follow-up question if the connection is unclear. After basic verification, we will generally remove or correct the material promptly. We prefer resolving these requests cooperatively rather than creating an unnecessary dispute. If you prefer to submit a formal notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), send it to our designated copyright agent below. Formal DMCA notices must satisfy the requirements of Section 512 of the U.S. Copyright Act. The U.S. Copyright Office provides guidance and sample notices. Refero’s designated copyright agent for notices of claimed copyright infringement is: Copyright Agent

4. Repeat infringement

In appropriate circumstances, Refero may terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe third-party intellectual property.

5. Third-party materials

Screenshots, logos, trademarks, product names, and other third-party materials shown in Refero remain the property of their respective owners. Their inclusion in Refero does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.
